My client, a major FMCG company based in Glasgow are currently seeking a Systems Development Team Leader.
This role will involve working closely with the business, responsible for application developments, system enhancements, information reporting and application level support for all the reporting systems used within the business. The technology platforms will be Oracle*Java.
In the next 12 months their focus will be to create a full datawarehouse and the use of business intelligent within the organisation.
This role is hands on but will be responsible for the prioritization of the teams workload in line with the IT strategy which supports the business.
You will have experience of bespoke development in a multi project environment and be able to deliver business systems in a complex IT environment.
You will have previous team leading experience and excellent business acumen.
Requirements for the role:-
Technical Team Leadership experience ( Teams of between 6 - 8 )
Data warehouse development and operations
Project Management
Support and development experience of core business systems
Assist in the selection, integration and support of packaged software
Application availability
Knowledge Skills
Oracle Datawarehouse * Business Intelligence solutions
ERP * EDI Solutions
Oracle Development, Java Development and any RPG experience would be advantageous.
